Project Brief
I am building an ecommerce website on wordpress. The site is currently functional and receiving orders, however there are some very annoying bugs. In my woocommerce cart page the "update cart" button and "apply coupon" buttons will not work. The order total will also not update when selecting an alternate shipping option. These are the only things that need fixed at this moment.
I have tried switching to more compatible themes, which fixed some other website bugs but nothing has helped with the cart page issues. I have installed an auto updating cart plugin… and that did not help either- which makes me think the update request is not reaching the server. I have a developer that has looked into this and thinks it may be a JS issue but they have not been able to figure it out and there is nothing on google regarding this issue. I found 1 old forum describing the issue suggesting it is a possible php issue, but I do not know how to go about trying this fix.
